Greetings from Italy!

This is the view from our balcony in Positano. It was more than we could have hoped for in a destination!  No doubt this place exceeded expectations and we left a piece of our heart in Positano.

It feels like Scott and I are on the trip of a lifetime. This is the perfect way to mark my retirement and the new chapter of life that will revolve around travel. I am beyond excited to share more with you.

In my last post I outlined our itinerary and some of the amazing spots we will be visiting. Thanks to Instagram we are able to share real-time updates of this incredible country. Take a peek below at the latest from Italia.

Thanks for following along!

Ciao bellas (and bellos)!!

Oh Heather, what a fabulous trip! Ever since I saw “Under The Tuscan Sun,” I wanted to visit Positano hahaha. What a lovely picture this is. I’m not able to view your instagram pics, but it looks like you had such a wonderful time. Happy Retirement, my dear. I’m sure it’s long overdue. : )

I’ve been following your adventures on Instagram. What a slice of heaven on earth! Enjoy!!

Ciao, Jen!! Thanks for your fun comments on IG. It has been an Italian adventure for sure. The itinerary has worked out beautifully. We are at Lake Como now–so peaceful!

Hello there dearest Heather! YOU are enjoying your retirement to the fullest! I love Italy. It is another sort of fairy tale setting, by the SEA! I am following you on Instagram!

So far so good, on the retirement front, dear Anita! I’ve heard that when you really feel the full impact is in August when colleagues are going back to work. Italy is simply…delicious! xx

All I can say is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! Oh it does sound like a trip of a lifetime, Heather. Safe travels. Btw, I’m waiting for a glimpse of Georgie boy! Xx Karen

Me too, Karen!!! ;) George and Amal were here just a week or so ago, from what I read. We’ve been here at Lake Como just one night but trust me, I’m checking out every wooden boat that trolls by our waterfront place. Thankfully Scott brought the binoculars ;). It is so beautiful. Each stop we’ve made has it’s own kind of beauty. I’ve taken 100’s of photos-you know me!
Happy summer, Karen dear.
